We do not leave these outside all the time though. I hang them up to dry, and they are stored out of the sun. Our pool is a salt pool, and I don't get carried away on the chlorine level.
As far as comfort, this is the only chair I use. I'm over 200lbs, and find this is great to sit up and float around on. It is also great to kick back, and take a nap on. Adjusted the straps initially, but not since.
I would not let anyone jump on it though. With proper care and use, I have found this to be my best float purchase.
The adjustable straps are fantastic!
I had a sturdier chair than this out of canvas that I LOVED but it fell apart. I dubbed it my “coma chair”.
I’m so happy I found another “coma chair”!
This is the BEST float chair I have bought to date! I am a "large" woman and as you know larger people have a harder time finding things than smaller people. Well I had read the comments on this and decided to go with my gut and buy 3 of them. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!
Another person had said it didn't float and he went under. Then blow it up more, because these do to float and very well! The less air you have in them (or anything inflatable) the further down you will go. My nephews were here last month and he is 6'3 280 lbs and he was floating just fine and even said he LOVED the float. Anybody who uses it, love it. As for the sitting up straight or lying back, just scootch your butt up or down the seat, no need in readjusting the straps.. It's perfect! (But if you need to because you're tall, yeah then you may have too.
ONE CON: If you are a SMALLER person, the arms WILL come up over your lap, because the seat is made for LARGER PEOPLE lol IT WILL still work (my sis is very small) and she floats fine, just the arms come up over her legs and she wants SUN on them.
The arm and neck pillows are inflatable and are very comfortable. It is my husbands favorite for naps in the pool.
Our company always goes for these chairs when they are in the pool. We have had a couple friends purchase two to take to the lake with them after they used ours.
I recommend this Poolmaster water chair for a relaxing day on the water.
